Jason winced just a bit as Emile spouted off some more about him, mostly because the things he was saying were true. He always wasn't ready when he finally let go of Cho's wrist and she was thrown towards him. He managed to recover in time after stumbling backwards a step or two, his arms wrapping around her in an embrace in order to catch her this time. He exhaled a long, slow breath, not realizing that he had been holding it for the past few seconds.
"No, no. It's not your fault, he was the one that brought me into it, not you. It's okay." Jason murmered to Cho as she rested her head on him. He was tempted to bring an arm up and gently run it through her hair to try and calm her a bit, but even though he did feel very different around her than most other girls, he didn't think that would be appropriate considering they still had only just met not too long ago.
It wasn't until then that he noticed the other girl there now as well. "Y-yeah. I just moved her a week ago from Earth. Today was my first day..." He muttered, his arms still lightly holding Cho, loose enough that she could easily back away if she wanted to.

"I just feel like I involved you somehow. I have never seen Emile act so harshly towards me like that. He must be very angry...not that I really care," Cho said and tilted her head up to look up into Jason's eyes. For some reason, she had wished that the male would stroke her hair back just a little but found that to be too much a selfish request for her to even ask for. "I am just glad that they didn't hurt you, Jason." She turned her head, remaining in Jason's hold as she looked over to the other girl that had interfered. "I am fine. Thank you for stepping. I caused an inconvenience for you, too. Forgive me," she said and slightly bowed her head towards the silver haired female.

"Ah-Its fine really. I was just getting off from Kendo practice to its not like i was doing anything important." she smiled looking at the girl the bowing lightly to the male. "And It is nice to meet you. You too Cho. Its surprising to have ran into really. I'm Ayano Haruka, Welcome to place...um.." the white haired female looked at the drak haired male with a questioning look, "What is your name exactly?"

Jason continued to hold Cho in his arms, rather enjoying having her this close actually. It made it feel like he was protecting her in a way. He could also smell the fragrance from her perfume and shampoo from this close, and it smelled very nice. "Cho, really, please. Don't feel like it's your fault, you did nothing wrong."
He shifted his feet a bit, starting to feel a little odd now with her in his arms, once again only because it had been only a short while ago that they hard first met, but he didn't pull away this time. "Oh-sorry. Uh, my name is Jason. Jason Collins.

Cho blinked a little at hearing the girl she now knew as Ayano call her by her name. Had they met somewhere before? She thought back to the students in her class, but she wasn't in any of those. Then she thought of the clubs she knew of and it clicked in her mind. She was... "Ayano Haruka. You are the captain of the kendo team at the school, right?" she said with a smile and uncurled her hands a little on Jason's chest so they were just resting against it. "It is nice to meet you, too. I am Cho Hiyasaka but I'm guessing you knew that already, huh?" she said with a smile before she looked up at Jason.
"I just feel like I involved you somehow, Jason. I mean, Emile and those guys, they aren't ones to be taken lightly. He...could have really hurt me or you if he wanted to," Cho said as she looked into the male's dark brown eyes. "Just...don't let them get to you, okay? I am friends with you because I want to be and there's nothing wrong with that."

"Its nice to meet you Jason-senpai ^^" she smiled, and looked over to Cho, "and yes, I am. I'm and under underclassman if thats why you wondering how I know you, and your pretty popular." Her soft amber eyes looked at the two before meeting eyes with Jason, he was pretty handsome. Ayano looked at the two in each other's arms, "Uh, you two go out?" she questioned, "But....Jason-senpai just started today, right?" she questioned, tilting her head to the side cutely with a confused look on her face.

"I'll...I'll try not to." Jason muttered to Cho, though her words did strike a chord with him. If Emile and his friends really didn't want Jason to be hanging around with Cho, like she said, they probably could have really hurt either, or both of them, if they really wanted to. He gulped heavily at the thought, but tried not to think about it.
"Oh, uh, no. No we don't." Jason quickly replied to Ayano. "She was just going to show me some places around the area because I'm new." Now that this new girl had also assumed that they might be dating, he backed away a step from Cho, releasing her from his gentle embrace and returning his arms to his side. If Cho really was popular enough for underclassmen to recognize her, and people were already starting to think they might be dating, this would likely not be the last time that someone would confront him on it. He swore at himself in his mind for having gotten wrapped up in this, even though it really wasn't his fault. It wasn't Cho's fault either, it was everyone else that jumped to conclusions and then got jealous or angry.
Jason glanced at Cho, then at Ayano, before quickly turning his head to the side towards the cafe they were standing in front of. "Can we uh, grab something to eat? I'm pretty hungry." He blurted out, wanting to change the subject as quickly as he could, quite clearly beginning to feel uncomfortable again.

Cho turned her head and looked at Ayano with a light blush before she let her hands fall from Jason's chest just as the male let go of her. "Oh um o-of course we aren't going out. It's what he said. I am just showing him around that's all," she said and also stepped away from Jason before she lightly folded her arms across her chest. She turned her head and looked towards Jason. Did he really have to pull away so fast? "Okay. Let's go inside now. Would you like to join us, Ayano?" she asked with a soft smile towards Ayano before she turned on her heel and looked towards the cafe

"Nani?? Really??" she asked, tilting her head to the side giving a questioning look, what seemed to become a habit for her. She smiled and nodded, "Sure, I'll be happy to!" she smiled happily, "I love the food there to, its great, but theres a few others that just as good." The silver haired girl walked to the other side of Jason," Shall we go? Cho-chan, Jason-senpai?"

Cho watched as Ayano came to Jason's other side as she opened the door. "Yes. It has very good food, doesn't it, Ayano-san? I come here all the time," her gentle voice said as she gave the silver haired girl a soft smile and looked towards the entrance of the cafe. "I'll um, go in first." She then opened the door and brushed past the pair and walked in ahead of them with a small pout. She found a booth near the back of the cafe and that was near a window. She slid in and set her things down beside her on the seat before she picked up a menu and started to look it over.

Jason remained silent as Cho invited Ayano to join them. He arched an eyebrow slightly at the suffixes they were adding at the end of names, wondering if that was customary here in Maihito, as it certainly wasn't where he was from. "You can just call me Jason." He said to Ayono as she moved to his side. At first he didn't pick up on anything from Cho, at least, not until she entered the cafe. The way she just brushed past him and quickly went to a seat was his first tip off, but then as she just immediately put her things next to her and went to the menu, he began to worry that maybe he had done something to upset her. He couldn't imagine this all being from Emile, though a good portion of it may have been. She didn't seem to be like this just a few moments ago though.
As he followed with Ayano to the booth that she picked, he bit his lip nervously, hoping that it wasn't his fault. Despite the fact that she had been quick to point out the situation with Emile hadn't been, he still felt a bit guilty about it. He was completely oblivious to the fact that his actions just outside may have affected her mood significantly as well. Seeing as Cho had put her things down next to her, he decided to slide into the booth across from her, placing his own things under the table between his feet as he too picked up a menu and began to look it over.

"Oh, Sorry...uh, Jason." she stated, following the others. She watched as Cho brused passed her and Jason, and go to a booth, taking a seat on one side and her bags on the side of her. Ayano then began to think the other was a bit upset...but why? She saw the dark haired male taking a seat on the opposite side. He snugged, sitting next to the male, placing her bag on the floor.

Perhaps it was stupid for her to have been upset about something like Jason pulling away so suddenly as if doing what he did was a mistake. She turned the menu page and looked at the lunch specials that were present on the menu. He didn't have to be so quick to move his arms from me like that after what Ayano-san said she thought silently to herself before she settled on the turkey sandwich with fries and a side salad. She set her menu down and looked out the window beside her. What was she to expect from him them, though? They had only just met and yet something so simple could irritate her.

Jason would occasionally glance up over the edge of his menu at Cho, only to find that once she had put hers down, she was simply staring out the window. He cursed inwardly at the fact that he had no idea how to act around girls, especially when the signals that he felt he was getting were so strong, he was really just afraid that he might be misreading them. He gave a soft sigh as he looked over the menu before muttering quietly, "Wow, there's a lot to choose from..." Just saying anything to break the silence that had fallen over the table.
He eventually decided on just getting a burger and fries with a soda before he too put his menu down. His eyes began to wander a bit, looking all around the small cafe, occasionally coming to rest on Cho, and occasionally wandering over to Ayano as well. He couldn't think of anything to say to initiate a conversation, so instead he stayed quiet.

The silver head female decided on a vanilla milkshake with some fried, after a few moments of gazing at the menu. She smiled as the waitress walked over to take everyone's order, telling the lady what she would like. She always likes to dip a fry or two in her milkshake, a friend of hers had her hooked.
