"Oh no, no, no, nothing like that!" Jason quickly replied when she questioned asking him to go. He was really flattered that she would even consider asking him. "I was just...surprised I guess. It's not like that, I promise. I would love to go with you." He looked down into her eyes, just now noticing the beautiful color of them, as he peered into them with his own deep, brown orbs. "Honest, I would really like to." He smiled, biting his lip a bit. "What do you mean, would it be better as you and me?" He questioned, tilting his head just a touch to the side.

Cho grew silent for a moment as she looked up into Jason's dark brown eyes before she smiled brightly and nodded. "Good because I wasn't going to let you say no," she said. "And don't be questioning about why I am asking you to go with me and not anyone else, got it? I see that look on your face. I'm inviting you because I want to, understand?" She looked away for a brief moment as they were crossing the street towards the cafe before she looked up at him and giggled. "You really are clueless, aren't you? I'll leave it to your imagination to find out what I meant and then you can get back to me, okay?"

Jason rolled his eyes and just laughed at first. "I didn't think you would. And fine, I won't bother asking, though from the way the other people on campus were staring, I suppose I should feel lucky that you invited me." He laughed, hoping that what he said wouldn't be too awkward. All of her giggling made him feel even more nervous and clueless than he already was. Even still though, nothing made him blush quite as hard, or feel quite as embarassed and awkward than her comment about him being clueless.
She had no idea just how clueless he really was. He had never had many friends, most were people that he met and talked to onlline via his games. And he especially hadn't had any girlfriends in his time yet. He stared down at his feet as they crossed the road, trying to think of some kind of response, but he had nothing. Finally, once they had gotten across the road, he did utter, "Yeah, I guess I kind of am, sorry." Even though her somewhat cryptic line did help his thoughts move in the right direction, he didn't fully put it together, as the thought that she might want to really spend some alone time with him was just beyond his comprehension at the moment.

"They always stare when I am with someone that they have never seen before or don't bother paying attention to. I don't ask for them to look at me like that and I don't like it very much, so I tell them something like I did when they saw me with you. To other people you may be lucky being seen with me, but to me, you are just a normal person whom they just see walking around with a normal girl. They act like it is big news or something and then the rumors start," Cho said and looked forward again. "So don't go thinking that you are any less than normal around them, okay? I mean, we are friends now, right? That's not something that needs to be hidden because of others." She stopped once they reached the front door of the cafe and turned slightly towards him with her arm still linked with his. "You are different, Jason, but the good kind. Being with you feels comfortable and I can be myself around you. In fact, I quite like your company so don't let others intimidate you or threaten you by what they say. Just remember that we're friends and whether or not they like it is none of their business. In the end, I am the one that approached you first, right?"

Hearing her talk like this caused Jason to bite his tongue in his mouth a bit, while his mind soaked in everything she was saying. Surprisingly, at least to him, it really did help to calm his nerves a bit. He turned himself a bit towards her as well, his smile returning once again. "Thanks, Cho. That actually does mean a lot to hear. And, well, to be honest, even though it may not seem it, and may be hard to believe...I do feel more comfortable around you than I do around most others. Sad, I know." He then fell silent, and looked out towards the street, before turning back to her, looking her in the eyes and saying, fairly softly, "I think I would like just you and me. Maybe I can go with you to the beach party, but we go just you and me a couple days before. You know, so I can get used to it." He added the last line with a bit of a smirk, trying to add a bit of lightheartedness to how awkward he felt he was being.

At seeing the smile return to Jason's face, Cho let her own lips curve up into a smile. She was glad he was seeing the positivity of the situation. "Good. I hoped it did help you because I speak nothing but the truth. I am happy to hear that you feel comfortable around me. Just be yourself and we'll be okay, okay?" she said with that same smile and soft giggle. The wind picked up a little and carried Cho's brown hair and skirt off to the side as she looked into the male's eyes in front of her. This was the first time she had seen him smile like this and it caused her heart to pound just a little bit. She nodded her head at what he said next and giggled. "Okay then. A few days before the beach party. It's a date," she said and felt a sudden strong breeze that caused her to be pushed closer to Jason, making her blush a little.

Jason couldn't help but smile a little wider still, glad that she didn't seem to think that he was as awkward as he thought he sounded. "I'll be looking forward to it." He replied.
When the wind picked up and caused her to push closer, it looked to him like she might be about to lose her balance, and out of sheer reaction, his arms reached out and grabbed her by the waist to catch her and right her, which really just put them even closer together. "Whoa, you alright?" He asked, even though she clearly was. He glanced down at his hands, still grasping her hips lightly, and then blushed a bit and quickly pulled them away, back to his sides. "We should probably head in and get some food." He added, trying to change the subject now.

Cho had seriously thought that she was going to fall to the floor bump into something, but when the breeze passed and she didn't fall, she was good. But then she felt herself pressed up against something. She looked up and saw it was Jason she has fallen against. "Oh um yes. I-I'm fine. Thank you for catching me, Jason," she said with her hands pressed against his chest and a light blushing costing her cheeks. She felt a pair of arms around her and looked down to notice they were Jason's. "Oh um well. Thank you for not letting me fall. That breeze was kind of sudden, huh?" She then soon felt his arms leave her and she looked into his eyes. Just as she was about to something to him, she heard chuckling in the back of her. "Well well out on a date already, Cho? My you move quick, don't you?" a voice said and looked to see it was one of her many admirers. "You know you could do so much better, right, Cho?" Cho looked back and saw that it was Emile, her top admirer. She scowled. "What are you doing here?" she asked. "Just trying to figure out why the most popular girl in school is diminishing herself by going out with the new loser." Cho brought up her hand and smacked Emile across the face. "Why don't you just keep your mouth shut? Jason isn't a loser," she argued back before Emile growled and grasped Cho's wrist.

A young girl with long silver hair was walking down the side walk, til she came to the crossroad ready to cross the street. He soft amber eyes held a kindness not found in many. She was still in her school uniform, a bag on her shoulders, and a bamboo sword at her side. She was off to her evening practice. He pulled up her thigh length white socks. She smiled once the walking signal came on, as she walked the street. This young girl when by the name of Ayano Haruka, the caption of her school's kendo team. As she crossed the street something caught her eye; a group of deliquiets talking to an upset looking female, with her male friend at her side. Did she just see those same guys yesterday and had to whip some sense into them? She may have looked cute ans innocent but when she was mad, or it came down to her kendo she was more violent.

Jason took a little half step back as Cho and the new individual began to argue. He didn't want to get himself involved in it, even though he already was in a way. He jumped a little as Cho slapped him across the face, more surprised to see her reacting so violently, especially as the way she worded it made it seem she was more concerned with defending him than anything else. He wanted to step in, but he still didn't, frozen in the spot for now. His mind seemed to be stuck on the thought that he shouldn't intervene, as it really wasn't his place, although it looked like it might turn a little more violent if he didn't try to do something.

"Ow. Let go of me," Cho said with a scowl as she tried to yank her wrist out of Emile's grasp but it only became tighter. "He's only been here for a day and here you are all smitten with him. Do you have any idea what your careless actions are doing to all the guys in school? You're pissing them off and yet you stand here and defend this guy. Why?" Emile exclaimed. "Because unlike you and everyone else, Jason doesn't see me the way you guys do. He treats me like a normal person and I feel safe around him," Cho said with a solemn look before she looked back at Jason. "I like being around him because it's comfortable and I somehow feel safe with him. It's nice." Emile gritted his teeth and yanked her forward so her attention was on him again. "Just leave him alone, okay? He hasn't done anything to you or to anyone else, so get your hands off of me!" she exclaimed.

Ayano made her way to the scene, looking at what was going on. Was this guy her boyfriend? and if so, why wasn't he stepping in to do something? "Hey you!" She called out talking to the male that held the girls wrist. "You shouldn't handle a lady like that. Haven't your mom ever taught you any manners??" she asked with a concerned look. "So, why don't you just let her go? It looks like your hurting her.." she mumbled.

"Hey, she said let go of her!" Jason finally managed to find his voice, taking a step forward. He had seen the look in Cho's eyes when she looked back at him, and that was what had shaken him to actually do something. He placed his hand on the other guys chest and gave a shove. "She's just showing me around the city because I'm new, and we happened to be sitting next to each other in my first class. What the hell is your problem?"
His voice, however, was not very strong, and definitely lacked confidence. Jason had never been in a fight in his life, and had serious doubts about his ability to do so.

Cho and the three males looked over towards the long silver haired girl as she approached them and told them to let her go before Cho looked back at Jason who had stepped up and said something. "Jason..." she said in a low tone before Emile chuckled. "So what? The princess got her two white knights to protect her? How pathetic, Cho," Emile said. Cho looked back towards Emile and scowled at him. "I even like how he is trying to defend you. How can you even like such a weakling with no confidence?" He soon let go of the female's wrist, causing Cho to be thrown against Jason's chest. "This isn't over," Emile hissed and looked at Jason with a harsh gaze before he and his goons walked away from the trio. Cho's trembling hands lightly gripped Jason's shirt and she pressed her forehead against his chest. "I'm sorry, Jason. I got you involved."

The white haired female scowled at the male as they began to walk off. After they were a few feet away, she turned her attention to The two others."Hey you okay?" she asked, looking concerned. "Their always bullying people...." she mumbled. Ayano paused at looked at the light brown haired female, "Wait, our Cho....from my high school... " he realized, now knowing the explanation for mostly everything. She looked over to the dark haired male, "but..he is a new face.."
