On a bright sunny autumn morning, classes were about to begin. The sky outside was a beautiful pale cornflower blue and the air was cool and crisp. A young woman in a black leather coat down to her knees walked through the courtyard.
She wore regulation black high heels with no socks or stockings displaying her tanned skin, her skirt was the short light blue plaid with yellow stripes required of all students, her shirt a white button up with a yellow ribbon tied in a bow at the collar instead of a tie and her light blue blazer over it but beneath her coat. Her long black hair was in a tight bun held up by simple wooden chopsticks and her brilliant green eyes were hidden behind thick fake glasses. Not only that, but she had taken the liberty to tape down her ample bust and put padding around her middle to hide her curves and had made her butt look smaller by using bandages to force the perky posterior down. She was trying to look mousy and uninteresting. The last thing she needed was sudden attention while she was here.
She shivered slightly in the cold. It wasn't so bad outside, but for an Egyptian, it was frigid weather. She hugged her coat close as she walked. She quickly rushed inside the university, taking off her coat and running to her first class. A boy wearing the university regulation light blue blazer and pants with white shirt and blue and yellow striped tie suddenly wolf whistled at her and she froze, looking down. Her shapely, sexy legs were all too visible with the regulation skirt being so short and trendy. "Oh, fuck me...." She grumbled before she continued running. She rushed into her class sitting in the only free desk next to a tall young man and crossing her legs and folding her hands on her desk, successfully made herself look like the 'good student' type.
She licked her lips slightly, tasting the skin coloured lipstick and making sure it was still on after breakfast. 'Okay....apart from this damned short skirt, I'm blending in....' She thought.
As she waited for the teacher to arrive, stared off into space, thinking about the strange dream she'd had the previous night. A man she'd never met acting kind and romantic towards her yet it hadn't seemed uncomfortable in any way....it seemed so odd. 'Urian, why did you send me such a dream? Or is this another one of the fate goddess's attempts to make me move on?' She thought to herself.
Suddenly, she realized she was staring at the guy next to her while she thought. She blushed slightly and looked away. "I uh.....sorry." She muttered, not looking at him as she spoke.

This beautiful autumn morning had started out the same for many students. Wake up, get dressed, a little hygiene, breakfast, and then off to school. Everyone knew everyone here. Many grew up together as kids.
On this particular day though a sunny haired stranger stood out amongts the crowd. Curious gazes followed the towering male as he made himself across the crowd with confidence. Dressed in the regular mandatory uniform he still seemed to outshine everyone around. The blond didn't seemed to mind the attention though, or even acknowledge it. His sky blue eyes remained fixed forward.
Rurik made his way easily into the school building. Students making way for him like they sensed the danger he exuded. The highlander hated that though. He was dangerous, he would admit that, but he didn't want no one here to fear him. He was only dangerous when necessary. It was hard to not seem dangerous though...atleast for him. The Scot was a towering six foot six, hundred eighty pounds, of pure muscle warrior. He couldn't help his past and it was hard to just brush aside his old habits. Though he certainly tried to look more friendly. Most people found it easy to get along with him though.. after they got over his past and his title.
"Mister McLeod, please come this way." The social worker that had helped him sign up for the school lead him toward his first class. The dark haired female was a short and curvy. Her long dirty blond hair hung in loose curls to her butt. He was used to short females, but the shortness of the males and females of this country amazed him. In his country even females were known to reach six feet easy. "Here it is. I hope you enjoy yourself, Rurik, with your personality I'm sure you will make friends easy. Just try not too look too... intimidating."
'If it was only that easy'Rurik watched the woman leave before stepping into the half way packed room. Eyes shifted to him almost immediately. 'Well... This is going to be easy' With his long strides he reached for the first available seat, hunching down and trying to make himself smaller. After a few minutes of sitting on his own a couple of brave boys approached him. Smiling and turning on the charm he won the two boys over easy and he found himself with his very first friends.
With class about to start any moment his friends wandered back to their seats. The highlander wished that they had sat next to him but when a curiously meek looking female with a nice pair of legs sat next to him he was happy they didn't. She seemed lost in thought for a moment and he was shocked when her gaze fell then stayed on him for a few moments. The blond didn't know what to say or do. His gaze lost in a pair of bright green eyes.
"I uh.....sorry."
"Aye, there be no reason to apologize, Beauty." Rurik smiled bashfully. "I be at fault as well. Yer eyes are very beautiful." He ran a hand through his hand nervously. Not a lot of the females liked his straight forward nature. He had a bad habit of saying exactly what he thought with no filter. Brutal honesty was what some called it. "My name is Rurik, Rurik McLeod. I'm from Scotland so thats why my accent is thick so I apologize if some of my words are hard to understand."

Luna's eyes widened slightly when the male addressed her as 'beauty'. 'Dammit! I thought I'd covered everything....' She thought, regretting the fact that she hadn't been able to hide more. If only her disguising magic would allow her to change more than her hair, her eye colour, and her skin colour. Then maybe she wouldn't be of interest to anyone.
He complimented her eyes and she blushed slightly. She liked it when people complimented them. Still, she adjusted her thick glasses in an attempt to obscure them. "1-2% of the world's population has green eyes. 12% if you count hazel." She said softly, stating facts, thinking it would bore him and he'd lose interest in her.
The male told her his name and she nodded. "I'm Luna Lakiv, nice to meet you....." She said, keeping her voice soft to keep the natural alluring tone to it less obvious. She wanted to avoid placing her curse on anyone and keeping uninteresting was the best way she could think of.

Adrik was one unhappy wolf. The sunny haired blond felt lonely. In spite of the fact that he had made friends relatively easy at his new home he still missed his family back at his old home dearly. Curious gazes followed after him as he made his way slowly to wards the school building. He didn’t sense any other wolves in the area and that saddened him a little. His purpose here was to extend his pack. Yet after weeks here he had yet to meet another wolf.
In spite of his bad mood though he kept a friendly smile on his face. The wolf had a charisma and air about him that just made him approachable. He never had a shortage of people willing to keep him company. Geez, LA, I guess I must be stickycausee these humans got there eyes glued.’ The blond laughed at his own joke and LA, a mini Adrik look alike, rested on his shoulder while silently laughing with him.
When they entered the main office he told the secretary his name. The lady turned red, turning a bit shy at Adrik’s attention. When her eyes fell on LA she tensed up not really sure how to react to the little Adrik mini me.
“Um, is that your child Mister Salvatore? Because children are not allowed during classes. Its against the rules even for you.” The plump middle aged woman wouldn’t know anything about wolf spirit projection so he didn’t bother to explain it to her.
“LA get gone for a while, eh Buddy?” LA rolled his eyes but listened. The secretary stared amazed as LA seemed to melt into Adrik till he disappeared completely. “There better? Now lets get me to class, true?”
The secretary rushed to get his schedule. A tall lady with curly hair waved him forward with a smile. ‘Follow me, son.”
Brushing off invisible dust from his brand new mandatory uniform he followed after the beautiful social worker. He measure his steps so not to walk circles around the much shorter female. “Here it is. I hope you enjoy yourself, Adrik, if you have any questions or concerns then don’t hesitate to come talk to me at my office. I am here to answer any of your questions.” Greens eyes looked at his suggestively and the wolf raised a brow at the ladies suggestive proposition.
“Ill keep that in mind.” With a tender brush of her hand down his arm she turned and walked away her hips swishing provocatively. ‘Wow..’ He shook his head. ‘Okay LA come out now.’ He waited a second, allowing LA to take his shape again, before stepping in to the class room. Like any normal class, eyes immediately shifted to the new guy coming through the door. Well everyone except two.
“What the hell.” He recognized the tall blond sitting besides a strangely alluring woman. He stalked forward and sat himself in the seat directly behinds his. Two sets of blue eyes clashed. First there was recognition, then shock, quickly followed by a mutual hate. “McLeod, fancy meeting you here.”
LA tugged on his hair, pointing furiously at the female sitting besides them. “Oh, Hello, names Adrik, Adrik Salvatore. What’s your name, beautiful?”

Before Luna had to engage in further conversation with this tall blonde, another male entered the classroom and the two seemed to recognize each other. She stared a moment at the 'child' on the shorter male's shoulder. The Egyptian loved children, having raised her own brothers after the deaths of her parents, but she didn't think this was an ordinary child.
While the one addressed Rurik, she looked away, opening her textbook and pretending like she wasn't curious about them. However, the newer arrival introduced himself as Adrik Salvatore, asking what her name was and referring to her as 'beautiful'. She flinched slightly at the word. Why were these guys interested in her? She should have been the least appealing girl in the class with her hair tied back, her make up done to look plain, and her curves hidden away. All the other girls were trying to look pretty when she was doing the opposite and trying to seem as boring as possible!
Forcing herself to calm, she turned and smiled, shaking the blonde's hand with both of hers briefly. "I'm Luna Lakiv, but that's hardly important. Surely you'd rather get re-aquainted with your friend than talk with some bookish history major. Please, don't mind me, catch up with him!" She said. She then turned away and stuck her head back into her book. She wouldn't be easy for either to win over, but her behaviour was rather curious and a girl like her would be great competition if either wished to try and outman the other.

“We are not friends” The two blondes said at the same time. The two glared at each other. LA rolled his eyes at the two, his gaze turning to Luna. “I’m LA, its nice to meet you.” The small blonde waved at the dark haired girl. His voice sounded more adult than what he looked like, husky and deep.
“On da’ contrary, Beauty, id much rather talk to ye than the mutt.” Rurik smiled charmingly. Leaning towards Luna and completely ignoring Adrik. The wolf didn’t like being ignored but didn’t mind it when it was the Scot. The two had always shared a mutual dislike. Mainly because the two blondes were very alike in personality. The only difference was that the Scot had a princely air to him while Adrik was pure animal magnetism. Both were deadly and powerful warriors in their own way though.
“I have to say you really are pretty. Why you hide such a pretty face beneath glasses huh?” The wolf was as straightforward as ever. His keen eyes seeing past the glasses to the beauty underneath. Though her body wasn’t particularly anything special, her legs were long and smooth. The blondes favorite. “There is no need to be shy you know? I swear I don’t bite.”
“Its probably yer rudeness scaring the lass away, mutt.” Shaking his head Rurik rolled his eyes at his …acquaintance’s rude behavior. The wolf was as straightforward as ever. Though he indeed was also curious about why Luna hid such a beautiful face behind glasses. He definably wouldn’t have called her out like that. “Ye don’t have to answer that Lass. The wolf has no manners.”
“Hey, I didn’t mean to offend. I’m just curious. Don’t act like your not either Scot. I can smell it.” LA nodded his head. Adrik laid the small blonde over the desk as he reclined in an almost bored manner. Though his speculative gazed betrayed his calm posture. “You hide it pretty well, but a highly trained eye wouldn’t miss it you know?”
It was one thing the two blondes could agree on. This poor girl had the misfortune of piquing the curiosity of a wolf…and by default the attention of the Scot, who knew that the wolf wasn’t easily interested in just anything. It will take mountains and oceans to tear these two away when they got a new scent in their nose.
“Im sorry for my rudeness, Luna. I hope we can still be…friends? What you say?” Adrik ran a hand through his hair almost bashfully, a big grin in his face.
“Aye, me too. After all there ain’t no harm in friendship now is there Lass?” Rurik pitched in with his own proposal. He wasn’t about to lose out to the wolf. Besides the pretty lady had sparked all kind of feelings in him. And he intended to realize why…

When they took mire interest in her than each other, she sighed and tried to ignore them at first, but hearing Adrik say she was hiding her beauty, she froze. How in the hell did he know that?! She stood and gave them a tiny smile. "As much as I'm sure I'd love talking with you, I think a more important question is where on earth is professor Jamieson? I think I'll go check his office." She said. Before leaving however, she couldn't resist softly. Petting LA on the head. Her skin was softer than silk and her scent was sweet, pure attraction pheromones and some exotic breed of orchids or something along thiose lines. There was no chance the wolf could have missed it before she ran off.
She made her way to the office and was about to open the door when she heard strange crunching and squishing. She frowned. It sounded like an animal eating, but why would it be in his office? She lifted up the side of her skirt to reveal that she had used the thin white lace strap of her underwear to hold down a unique solid gold ankh shaped dagger. Slowly she opened the door. "....Daniel?" She asked softly. He didn't reply but the crunching and squishing was certainly coming from inside. She stepped silently -a nearly impossible feat in heels- in and turned towards the desk. That's when her eyes widened in horror. She saw what looked like a skinny, hairless monkey with blades coming out of it's skin sitting on top of her friend, the professor and it was ripping his corpse apart and eating the insides! She gasped softly and that's when it noticed her. It turned slowly and she found that even though she was well accustommed to all kinds of hideous monsters, she started shaking when she saw that it had no eyes, a flat, hollow set of holes for a nose, and all sharp, pointed teeth.
She stood still, gripping her weapon, waiting for it to attack when it smiled an eerie, psychotic smile and disappeared.. She jumped in shock, but it appeared to be gone. She lowered her weapon slowly and began to edge out of the room, unable to sense it....but when a horrific, inhuman screech sounded, she knew she was wrong. Before she could react, it was on her, slashing and punching anything it could reach. She screamed, struggling against it. It sliced her chest and arms and stomach harshly before she manage to get a grip on her dagger and stab the gruesome beast. It howled out in pain and she kicked it off her. She leapt on it, but the beast shrieked again and this time disappeared for real in a cloud of smoke, causing her to drop hard onto the ground.
She gasped for breath, weakly sitting up. She pulled her chopsticks out of her hair and let the long, silky midnight blue-black waves roll down her back and collect in a pile on the floor as she tried to think. 'What....what was that thing? Why was it here? Why kill Daniel? He's just an archaeologist!.....Isn't he?' She wondered. Suddenly, she groaned, feeling the pain in her stomach and chest. Soon others would get here and she needed to get out of there immediately. She lifted herself in an awkward matter and tried to run out of the room when she ran directly into something hard, knocking her glasses clear off. She wiped her mouth which was bleeding from a punch and accidently revealed the true perfect red to her lips by wiping off her lipstick. She froze, panting heavily and looking up at what she hit.
