Temple of Vargach
The path
The Temple of Vargach (Battle) is found deep within the forest. The forest itself, around where the temple lies, starts to gain a jungle like quality. Moss covers the broken stone path, the north side of trees, rocks of any and all kinds. Vines dangle from the tall trees, that don't even look like trees due to the moss and ivy that has taken over the massive trunks. The path to the temple is trechrous for the weak at heart, for the vines recognize those who can not make the journy and end it for them. The result of that is the bones of those who startedt he journey but never finished it. Their corpses mark the way to the temple, if one is able to spot them, for the forest decided to claim them as well.
The further one travels to the realm, the passage seems to take forever, but if one was to turn and look behind them, they would realize that it would seem they haven't traveled as far as they originally thought. Though it is best to not turn around, for the journey will reset itself and the traveler must start from the beginning once again. Though eventually, after what seems like hours lost in the dark green tint of a forest, the path starts to become clearer. A set of stone steps, is spotted in the distance, though the stones are cracked in various spots and covered in moss in spots. At a closer look there happens to be two stone walls, with cut outs that look like thimbles, but much taller and more drawn out. There is no roof to that, but it is a sign that the temple has been reached.
Court Yard
The hallway of sort from the stairs runs roughtly about a quarter of a mile long, before opening up to the court yard. The courtyard itself looks the same as the hallway that brought the visitor to this part. The smiliar walls of the hallway, branches out and in circles the court yard keeping it as a wall of sorts from the jungle of a forest outside. The walls of the court yard are covered in the same ivy that was found out in the hallway and upon the trees. The court yard itself has path ways that lead all over to different areas. One path way leads to the arena where battles or matches are held. Another leads to that of the main temple where the alter is for the God. A third leads to the quarters of the clergy, which only two clergy are allowed in the service. Another leads to that of the private water falls, that only special permission is given for access there. The next path leads to a building that smells highly of animals and bears a sign of "Do Not Enter." A final path leads to that of the forgery, where weapons along with armor is made, by the God's hand only.
If the path ways are ignored, and one is to look around the court yard, a marble fountain dominates the exact center of the land in front of the visitor. The fountain is made of perfected marble, of which there is no breakage or imperfections. The base is a huge circle that is roughtly ten feel in diamater and as it moves to the next tier it goes down to seven feet in diamater, then five, befor going to three feet in diamater. At the top of the fifteen foot fountain there are depictions of three kitsunes (fox demons) and the water is spewing out of their mouths in a howl like pose. Upon closer inspection of the fountain, if one was to look in the water, a vision would play before thier minds. The vision would be of the greatest fear that one would have, and it would take great will and strenght to pull away from such a vision.
Though if the fountain was completely ignored, the visitor would notice that the areas without a path that the grass is cropped nicely and strange but beautiful flowers grow, but do not look like they are in bloom. Which may seem true, but the flowers are a rare species of lunar vegitation. The flowers themselves only bloom at night and at the beck and call of the God himself. They remind him of his life in a long forgotten realm, but they are his most prized posession outside of his weapons. If harm happens to befall a flower, a rage is echoed through out the grounds and the one who caused harm will come face to face with a feirce blue dragon, of adult age. Sagi is the guardian of the temple and all trespassers will have to face his wrath.
The Arena
The arena is the first building on the right that greets those who wish to visit the Battle Master. The building itself looks rather run down and cracked, but upon closer inspection the building seems to be rather solid. The arena itself holds no door to the entrance, but seems rather dim when looking from the ground floor of the court yard instead of up the steps and looking in. Though upon walking up the steps the visitor is greated by a different site. A five foot path made of stone clings to the walls as the rest of the floor is made out of a material that is not discernable by any means other than by the God. Along the back wall is that of three doors that lead into different rooms, but it would be wise to not go snooping for the God would be very displeased.
The door on the right, leads to the room where women may dress and change for a match of strenght and will with the God. The door on the left is that for men to change and dress within for a match with the God. The center door is locked at all times for it holds many different weapons that the God himself has forged or came across. Breaking into this room, will be cause for Sagi to make the visitor his lunch.
The Forgery
The forgery, or where weapons and armor are crafted at is found on the left side of the entrance. A tall smoke stack rises from the flat stone roof. This building looks to be rather brand new, for there are no cracks or chips or chunks missing from it like the other buildings. Though ivy and moss do cover parts of it, it seems more like a security measure more than anything. The door to this building is locked and there seems to be no windows on the building either. Even the smoke stack has a grate over the top to prevent intruders. The main reason, this building is off limits unless the God requests other wise.
Though once inside, with the god, there is a massive anvil that is used to bang out the weapons and armor, the anvil is in the center of the room and looks to be four feet by four feet. Along one wall, labeld in draconic and elven are big tubs of water that seem to be holding various items within their depths. Along the back wall is that of the fire pit and a kiln to take care of that of the weapons and armor when they need to be heated up. Along the opposite wall of the water vats is that of a wall filled with different tools to work with different types of material. The floor of this building is that of a hay of sort, which the God finds to soften the blow of a fallen weapon or armor peice.
The Animal Den
On the other side of the forgery is that of the animal's den. The building is massive and a bit smaller than that of the actual temple. The building looks to be about two stories tall and has windows of reinforced material that is not recognizable either. The building seems to have a roof but that is an illusion cast upon a certain area to be able to allow Sagi to exit and enter at will. The door to the building is unlocked and opened but it is a bad idea to enter the home of many animals. Though some of the animals may be friendly, others like Ion are not. The building smells of wet animals only because they track back the wet smell from the waterfalls.
The Temple
Upon walking to the temple, the building is massive and quite tall, but does not go over the wall around the temple itself. To enter the temple, one must wall up the stairs and enter through the main door. The outter shell of the temple is made of the same stone that the rest of the buildings are and it sits on the other side of the arena. The walls are covered in ivy and moss, like everything else and the doors are strangly made of a wood of some sort. Once the visitor walks through the doors, a different scene greets them.
The walls hold no visible cracks or holes, like the outside. Though upon the walls are covered in tapestries that depict battles that the God himself has fought in. Ones where he has won and ones where he has lost, though the lands in the battle are not the same lands here. They are of a different realm all together. Through out the interrior of the temple, there are pedistals of glorious items that the God himself has collected and each item should be feared. If a visitor was to pay attention upon entering the Temple itself, they would notice three kittens flanking them and watching their every movement.
At the far end of the temple there is a shrine made of silver wood, in laid with pink leaves and coated in a clear varnish of sorts. The wood and leaves are something that was brough here from the realm that he was within before arriving in the lands. Any harm to the alter, and the God himself will inflict rage upon. The alter is very valuable to him and he treasures it above anything and everything. Along the wall behind the alter there sets hundreds of candles, for one to light and send up a prayer to the God or to even pay their respects to him.
The Waterfalls
The waterfall is a restricted area, one that no one shall enter, under no circumstances. Well the only one would be at the God's wish. The waterfalls are hard to get to, though while standing in the court yard, the only sound that can be heard of water related noise is that of the fountain. The path that leads to the waterfall ends abruptly at a door that stands only a few feet from that of the wall itself. The door is black with two battle axes upon it with watter raining down upon them. Upon opening the door there is a blackness that greets the visitor, until the visitor shuts the door.
Upon the door shutting, a whooshing noise rushes through the ears and the visitor feels like they are falling through the air. Moments after the fall starts, it ends and the visitor lands on a very soft and very thick pile of moss. The fall is well worth it when they rise and follow the dirt path towards the sound of the water. Once the visitor breaks through the tree line, a huge pool of water greets them. The water is crystal clear and seems to go down for hundreds of feet, into which there are water cavers and places to explore beneath the surface. Along the back side of the pool, is that of a mountainous range where the water is falling from and creating a rainbow.
On each side of the waterfall is that of a path that leads to the top to essentially cliff dive into the water. No matter the weather on the other side of the door that was entered, the weather here is at a perfect tempurature, and the water is just right.
Private Quarters
Upon arriving on the grounds, it is difficult to dicern where the God himself sleeps or well hides out. The answer lies with the waterfall. Upon arriving there was two paths, one that lead to the waterfall, the other led away from it. If the path is followed away from the waterfall, the visitor would be greated by that of a simple wooden home, made of two stories in height. Out side of the home, there is a fire pit for food being cooked, as well as a smaller building where food is stored.
If one was to pay close attention, they would notice an oddity as a snow leopard cub would be lying out on the ground enjoying the sun. Inside the two story building, the visitor would be greeted with a glorious living room, that would make them feel like they were in midieval times. Couches, chairs, a coffee table would greet them, as well as a throw carpet of red and gold design. A fire place would be seen against one wall, as well as a love seet not too far away from it for personal time.
A door way out of there would lead to that of the God's personal library, with books on every subject and it means every subject. The library covers two floors on the north wing, but it doesn't appear to do so. If one was to go back to the living room area, they would find a stair case that lead to the top floor, in which a single door would greet them.
Opening it, a massive bedroom would appear to them. Two big bay windows facing them with curtains blowing in the breeze would reveal the view of the beautiful grounds. A massive king sized bed would lie between the windows and is draped in that of a soft, but smooth cotton. A dresser made from the same wood as the alter would be seen across from the bed but near the door, which would hold all of the God's clothing. Two different doors would be along the wall on the far right. One leads to a bathroom made of marble, where the other would lead back to the main temple grounds, leaving the visitor standing in front of the open door to the waterfalls.
