Kneeling down in front of the altar, Lletas clasped her hands before her chest in prayer. She was one of the most observant practitioners in the temple. Every morning, just like this one, the priestess asked her goddess for blessing. She had never met her patron lord but she had heard that her goddess was beautiful and amazing. Having heard these things since childhood Lletas had no reason to doubt those thoughts.
Lletas moved away quickly when some of the later risers began to enter the room. She bowed her head to the other worshipers and left quietly, happy that no one had spoken to her. Moving towards the communal eating area, Lletas ate breakfast before going to the garden for her daily meditations. Sitting on the soft grass her dark cloak floated down around her. The hood fell from her face revealing the pale tresses that were normally hidden from view. She closed her eyes and focused.

Lie walked into the Temple of Darkness. He loved it here, then again a god like him should feel welcomed to the temple that surves him as well as his Goddess counter part. There was a God and Goddess to each element. He was greeted with bows and praise as he went into his Throne room to rest and sleep. Spending some time with those that worrshipped him was somthing a good God should do he felt.

Lletas mostly worshiped the goddess however she had dedicated to the temple and as such served the god of darkness as well. She knew this but never really interacted with the priests and priestesses who did serve him. As she reflected upon this, Lletas finished up meditating, moving on to her daily chores. Filling up the bucket with water, she covered her face with the hood of her cloak once again.
Entering the first room she had been assigned to clean, Lletas came across a man whose own silver hair spilled down around him. Recognising him as her god, she fell to her knees, her forehead touching the ground. She begged forgiveness for disturbing him, "F-forgive me, my lord. I did not know you were in here."

Lie had been resting in the throne in his room swirling shows around on the floor to amuse himself as he thought of somthing to do. Punishin the unust of the world was good and all but he wanted more to his immortal lie that just being feared by thise that would harm this world.
His door pened and the shadows went back to their place as he looked to see who was entering his Chamber. Maybe one of the prests would ask him to bless some one or somthing however when the prestess that enter begged for forgivness and he saw the cleaning suppies into he figured she didn't know he had come back to rest at the templend had come to clean his room.
"It's okay my dear fallower, I punish the wicked not those who merely walk in on accident while doing their duties." he said motioning that the other could rise. "You may work and if you wish we may even talk to each other. It s sometimes lonly being a god talking with anther person would be nice.

Lletas tentatively got to her knees picking her bucket up, thankful for the forgiveness. Standing up she began her duties. She picked the wash cloth from the bucket, ringing it out so that it was damp. "You... wish to talk my lord?" Lletas had no idea where to start, she wasn't one to talk much and when she did it was always related to her duties or the temple somehow. "Is... is there something you would like to talk about my lord?"

Lie thought for a moment on somthing the two o them could speak of. "Hmm well not off hand that I know of." He sid. He must admit he didn't get a chance to speak to many people, and those tht knew him as a god were always so scared they may say somthing offensive they never manage to carry on a coverstaion. "Well how about you? What can you tell me of yourself?" he asked

Lletas paused momentarily from her cleaning, thrown off by the question. What could she say to the god? Taking a breath she returned to her duties. Having finished up in that spot, Lletas moved on to another. Kneeling down for a more comfortable position, she swiped the damp cloth over the furniture in question. "Well, my lord..." she began tentatively, "I was dedicated to the temple when I reached adulthood... though I've always known I would be." A rare smile played on her lips, "It's an honour to serve here at the temple, it's mostly quiet here so I can focus on my meditations and prayers."
Beginning to scrub the floor now, Lletas considered some more, her eyes distant in fond memories, "As a child I always looked forward to my visits here... oh, I'm sorry my lord. I got carried away," she finished when she realised that she was about to go into a tirade of memories. Lletas looked down at the floor, she usually wasn't this talkative, it was something that didn't happen very often.

Lie actually found what she was taling about interestng. She seemed to love the temple and most likly the dark as well seeing as the temple was made for him and the Goddess of the Darness. He found it strange the two of them had yet to meet but so far there wasn't really a reason to meet.
"When she appologized he chuced and said. "No, it's quite alright I don't mind at all it's sort of interesting. So then you have devoted your life to worshipping darknessand to serve the Goddess and well, me? How is it tht you knew all that time? Did your parets choose you for this?" he asked

"Hmm... yes, they said this is the best place for someone like me." Hesitating for a moment, Lletas contemplated telling the whole story. However she did not wish to lie to her god so she continued quietly, "To be honest my lord, originally I wanted nothing to do with the temple. I thought it to be some punishment my parents concocted because they didn't want me. When I was 9, they left me in the care of the temple for a week. That's when I truly devoted myself to the darkness." Stopping her scrubbing for a moment, Lletas knelt before the god of darkness, "I wish to always serve you my lord and the darkness."
Bowing her head slightly, Lletas returned to her cleaning. She was almost finished her duties in this room and would have to move on shortly.

"Some one lie you?" he asked. He wondered what she had ment by that. It could hve ment she was a trubled child but that didn't seem really likly to him. She mentioned that she felt her parent never wanted her and that she seemed to be dancng around somthng she wished to keep hidden. though he had no way of guessing what the could be. "You will always have a place here in the shadows." he said when she said she served the darkness he smled to her once again seeing sh was almost done. "If you ever wish to talk my door is open to you, I know what it's like to grow up hidding yourself from others." he said to her

Picking the bucket up, Lletas gave the god of darkness a deep bow in gratitude, "Thank you my lord. I would be honoured to speak with you again." She moved over to the door and gave another, shorter bow before she left. Shutting the door with a soft click, she moved on to her other duties, a small smile still evident on her lips. She was glad to have met the god and looked forward to cleaning the room tomorrow, hoping her lord was there again.

Lie smiled as the preistess bowed and he sat back on hs throne and sighed as he closed his eyes to rest for a while once more. Once he was up he gave out a few blessings andlet the preists worship him as they saw fit.
The next day he desided tosty at the temple a while longer just to take a break from his trvles and his punishing of evil. Deep own he also wished t talk with the girl again. It had occred to him he hadn't gotten her name last time. He would be sure to ask it this time if she came by.

Lletas woke early as she did every day to go pray as she did each morning. However she found she was having trouble concentrating on her meditations. Unable to maintain focus Lletas gave up for the day, there was no point in continuing if she was distracted. She began her cleaning duties earlier than normal, not that anyone noticed. Lletas made sure that she kept a low profile here at the temple.
She went through her duties differently than she had yesterday, saving the room she had met the god of darkness in for last. Lletas cleaned each room swiftly and thoroughly, making sure not to miss anything. Finally she was done and stood before the door she hoped contained her lord. Lletas knocked.

Lie had waited in his room for the girl to come to his room not knowing why h was so loking forward to seeing her again and why he just wanted to have her around for a little bit. He had already eaten this morning doing it early so that he didn't have to worry about missung her or anything.
He heard a knocking at his door and the opened it to see Lletas there. He smiled warmly happy to see her again. "Come in. By the way I never asked for your name yesterday, what would you prefred I called you?" he asked

The suddenly opened to reveal the god. Lletas bowed her head in greeting. "My name is Lletas Sulak, my lord. Please call me however you like." She entered the room to begin the cleaning for today. Carrying the broom, she started to sweep the floor, "I am honoured to see you again."
