Kenta looked at Katsumi, his eyes still blank as always, the moments of silence was irking. "Well...I can't accept you feelings.." he replied, looking back forward. "Forget it...I'm heading home.." He walked of, his normal strid in place.

Katsumi just stared at Kenta before he heard his friend say that he couldn't accept his feelings. "Yeah..." he began as he watched Kenta turn on his heel and start off down the hallway. He soon stuffed his hands in his pockets and leaned back against the wall. "...I knew you would say that." A hurt smirk curved on his lips as he bowed his head and looked at the floor, letting his hair foreshadow his eyes.

The night soon swept over, and the city lights lite the streets. A silver haired male walked into the convenient store. Kenta was still a bit hungry, and as a habit, he didn't like to cook. He walked to the frozen asle, picking up so microwavable dinners and a few snacks and left after he purchased them.

Meanwhile, Katsumi had returned home...alone. He had taken a nice warm shower, dressed into his pajama pants and a plain white t-shirt, and a pair of fresh briefs and socks before he decided to cook himself a nice, hot meal. He decided to make rice, ramen, mandarin chicken, steamed vegetables, and chow mein. He set it up on the table and after placing a napkin on his lap, he picked up his chopsticks and bowed his head towards the food in thanks before he looked up across from him to the empty seat. He scowled softly. He wished Kenta had changed his mind and join him, but...it looks like it wasn't possible. He sighed softly and took his chopsticks between his fingers before delved into his food.

Kenta had made it home; his house was nice really nice, made for a nice size family maybe. (If you've every seen junjou romantica He house likes liek Usgai) He walked to his kitchen to prepare his frozen dinners. He couldn't, however, stop thinking about Was Katsumi had told him. Yeah, he knew, and Katsumi always told him, but he just...couldn't see him that why, besides he was a man.

It didn't take very long for Katsumi to finish his meal. In fact, there were even leftovers...which was a surprise to him seeing as how he always finished what he ate. Perhaps he just wasn't in the mood to eat everything. He placed what finished dishes there were in the sink and stored the leftovers away before he walked over to his living room and plopped himself down on the couch. He picked up the tv remote and started to flip through the channels. Once Katsumi found a classical music channel to listen to, he tossed the remote onto the coffee table and laid down on his side, staring at the tv as he hummed to the song that was being played through his surround sound speakers.

After he was done, the silver haired male readyed himself for bed. He knew there was nothing to worry about, Katsumi and him wouldbe back to normal by tomorrow, or maybe a few days. Kenta sighed once ge stepped out of the shower; did he was to go back the way things was with Katsumi? He had found out his biggest secret; that he was a vampire, and he didn't want to hurt him again. Kenta despised all vampire with all of his soul...it was disgusting. Monsters in the human form.

Katsumi sighed and slowly closed his eyes. What was tomorrow going to be like? He was always used to the cold shoulder from Kenta so something like this shouldn't hurt him. His friend was so blunt that sometimes...it hurt to hear the truth from him. Knowing that the other wasn't going to return his feelings, was there even any point of trying anymore? Should he just give up? He let out an exasperated sigh and buried his face in his pillow and turned onto his side towards the back of the couch. Could they go back to being friends after such a harsh reality hit him hard? Katsumi settled himself against the couch cushions before he dozed off into a light slumber. Tomorrow was going to be different...Katsumi knew it.

The night came and went and Katsumi was sitting in his history class. He was tapping on the desk with his pen as Mr. Suzuki gave his lecture to the class. He sighed and looked out the window, his mind wondering here and there and not on his textbook or notebook. Yesterday was rough but he decided he wasn't going to let it get the best of him. If Kenta didn't want to be with him, fine. He would move on.

After his history class ended, Katsumi went about his way to the outdoor pool for some extra swim practice. He changed in the locker room down to his speedos, swim cap, and googles before he went over to the edge of the pool and dove into the water, streaming through the water like a jet.

Kenta sat in the teachers lounge, now done with his business and he need a luch break, He felt like he was starving, yet not just for food. He had a thirst for blood more than usual, but if he had been holding back this long, he could hold it back and tame it more.

Somehow swimming made Katsumi forget about his problems and make him more focused on other things. Although Kenta was different. Snippets of him came into his head and he just couldn't shake it. He heard his cold words of rejection also flood through his head and he just swam faster and faster. It got to the point of him being exhausted and resting on the edge of the pool. He folded his arms across the cool tile near the pool and lowered his head, breathing heavily as he closed his eyes. "This isn't helping," he said in a low mutter to himself before he jumped out of the pool and went to the locker room to get dressed.

Kenta yawned, laying his head on the desk. He was in the library, where he would always go to skip out on work, and catch up on sleep in the back. He was sound asleep, his breath even and soft.
